Sawyer is 6 months old!!

This precious boy is 6 months old today! Time is literally flying by with the second child. There are even times when I think I am still pregnant, and here Sawyer is already 6 months old. Today we gave him his first taste of food. Avocado. He was a little apprehensive, but he didn't cry or fuss. He probably ate about a 1/8th of the avocado. Still has some learning to do. We go for Sawyer's 6 month check-up Thursday, so I'm not sure how much he weighs right now but I am guessing he is in the high percentile.

Miles still loves his baby brother. We are prepping Miles for some Easter egg hunts he has coming up this week. He is calling the Easter candy "bunny treats". Not sure where he got that from.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Yes, Augusta has a St. Patrick's Day Parade! And it wasn't that bad, even though it was drizzling a little.

Miles' little friend, Gracie, turned 3! On St. Patty's Day! What a fun birthday party, decorating cupcakes. Miles even took a few bites of the cupcake wrapper before I remembered to take it off for him. Oops.

Cute Story

So, Miles has eczema. No big surprise since he is freakin' sensitive to everything. Well, I was putting some lotion on a patch of eczema that he has on his leg. I told him it was his eczema and I needed to put lots of lotion on it to make it better. Then Miles says "Miles has eczema" and I said "yes". A few minutes later, we went into Sawyers room to change Sawyer's diaper. And Sawyer has eczema too. So I made a comment about how Sawyer has some eczema on his arms. Next think I know, Miles has pulled down his pants and was rubbing his hands where I had put lotion on his leg. Then he took his hands and rubbed them on Sawyer's arms where I had said he had eczema. How sweet it that!

Firetruck!

There were firetrucks and firefighters at the Columbia County library last Saturday. Miles was in heaven. Not only did he get to sit in a firetruck, he got to see a firefighter completely dressed up in all their gear!

And on a side note, I just want to share how excited I am... Miles is potty trained! He is still wearing a diaper at night, of course, but during the day and even at Mothers Morning Out, he is in underwear with no accidents!! He actually likes to poopy in the potty, I think, since he does it like 4 times a day.
