Sawyer 7 months old

I have to brag on my husband. He got a fancy new camera a couple of months ago and has been taking some pretty awesome pictures. If he knew that I have been posting 'unedited' pictures, he would probably die. So, here is a fantastic edited pic he did for Sawyer's 7 month pictures.

Sawyers 1st pool trip

At first, Sawyer cried, but once he got used to the cool water, he loved it!

Wilmington, NC with the Dubes

We took a our first "family of four" trip the other weekend and went to Wilmington, NC to visit the Dubes. Boat rides, beaches, farms, tractors. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend :)

as a bonus, Julie even arranged for a babysitter one night so all of the grownups could go out dinner.

Sawyer and Miles with Grandma on her birthday, which also happened to be Mothers Day. Miles helped me make the cake for Grandma's birthday, and obviously couldn't keep his hands off the cake for even one second for me to take a picture...

Miles, Sawyer, Grandma and I went to 'POPS under the Stars'. We had front row seats for our blanket. Miles enjoyed seeing the orchestra and listening to the music. Sawyer was content chewing on his toys.

miles had the best time feeding the giraffe's at the zoo. he was not scared at all, even though one of the big ones nibbled on his hand. currently there are 3 baby giraffes at the zoo, which were miles' favorites.

1st garden

we planted our first little garden the other week. 4 tomato plants, an eggplant, and a butternut squash. not really sure what i am doing, but miles sure does love to water the plants with me everyday. we will see in about 60 or so more days if the tomatoes work out, no idea how long it will take the eggplant and squash.
