Sawyer is 3 months old

I can't believe it, but our little baby Sawyer is already 3 months old. Its kind of sad, he is growing up so fast. Well, most of you have heard me complain of this but...
Sawyer will not take a bottle!! And I started back to work last week. So, that makes 12 hour shifts pretty tough on me and him. So I got a new job about a mile down the road at a Day Surgery Center. 8 hour shifts.

Christmas Eve 2009 at Grandma and Papa's

Then, later on in the afternoon, we went over to Grandma and Papa's house for more presents! Grandma had some cheese and crackers for us, and we opened up some more presents. Miles was in heaven. I think we are going to have to have a talk with 'Santa' next year because Miles had way too many presents...

Christmas Eve 2009

We celebrated Christmas this year on Christmas Eve since both Craig and I had to work on Chrsitmas day. This is not a problem yet because Miles doesn't fully understand how Christmas works yet. But he does know it is Jesus' birthday, and because Miles turned two this year, he thinks Jesus is also "2". When I got Miles out of his crib in the morning, I said "Merry Christmas" and Miles said "Santa come" and I said "yes" and let him run out to the christmas tree. He just sat there and looked at all the presents. Grandma and Papa came over and we had breakfast and then opened some presents and our stockings.

Aunt Carly and G.G. visit for Thanksgiving

Miles still loves his books. Probably one of the only times of the day when he is still enough to hold.
Quite tough getting the boys to cooperate and take a good picture
Family photo.
Aunt Carly reading Sawyer a book. Sawyer is just not that into it.
G.G. and Sawyer. Notice the spit up leaking out of his mouth. This child is a fountain and always smells like spoiled milk. Nice.

Julie and Kai visit

Julie came down for a visit to meet Sawyer and let Kai and Miles play. Unfortunately I had mastitis and Julie was newly pregnant and nauseous- so needless to say the trip could have been a lot more fun. But it was nice seeing Julie and Kai and I was happy to have the company. The boys got to play, and as you can see from the pictures, they are definitely boys...

Fun Times at the Columbia County Fair

Miles went to his first fair a couple weeks ago. He loved the animals but wasn't too sure about the "nemo" ride.

Pumpkin Palooza

Miles had such a great time at the Pumpkin Palooza at the church where he goes to Mothers Day Out. Pony rides, carnival rides, cotton candy, cookie decorating, hay rides.... Not to mention his doctor's costume was a big hit.

Yeah! Aunt Carly!

Aunt Carly came to meet Sawyer the weekend we brought him home from the hospital. And she came out last weekend. We all wish she lived here in Evans, not California...

Decorating

Miles and his Daddy started decorating for Halloween last week. The fake spider web stuff was a big hit with Miles. Its been up for a week or so now, and even though its taken a beating from the rain, its still up!

Hanging out

Grandma Patti and Grandpa Dave

Grandma Patti and Grandpa came all the way from California to meet Sawyer and visit Miles. We all had a very nice visit. Miles even got to go on an Augusta Canal Boat Tour with his Dad, Grandma Patti and Grandpa Dave. I was stuck at home lovingly nursing Sawyer.
I am finding out that it is increasingly more difficult to get a 2 year old to cooperate when taking pictures...

Turtle

Craig almost ran over a turtle in our neighborhood, so he decided to stop and bring the turtle home for Miles to see. Of course Miles loved the turtle. We were going to let the turtle go in our backyard, but Craig read that you should return it to where you found it. So Craig and Miles went back up the road and released the turtle. Then Miles went and played with the mushrooms in our yard.

Sleep, Nurse, Sleep, Nurse

Sawyer is such a precious, laid back baby. He loves to nurse and he loves to sleep. Hopefully this will continue and he will be an easy baby. Miles continues to love his 'baby brother' and enjoys holding him and playing with his toes.
